Christy Firmage is a professional, award winning teddy bear artist who has been designing and creating bears for eight years. She specializes in small dressed bears (4" to 18" tall) and is recognized for the vintage-style clothing that enrobes her elegant lady bears.

Inspired by her love of Victorian fashion, Christy tries to use vintage materials and sparse mohair to give her bears a vintage look. She researches the costuming to design and sew the intricate dresses, hats, and parasols that many of her bears wear.

Christy has received many awards and nominations including the TOBY, Golden Teddy, Golden George, British Bear Artist Global Award, TITA (Tokyo), and Paris Creation. Her work has appeare on the cover of "Teddy Bear and Friends" magazine and has been featured in "Teddy Bear and Friends", "Teddy Bear Review", "Teddy Scene", "Teddy Bear Times", and "Teddy Voice" (Japan).
